Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance è un videogioco hack and slash sviluppato da Acclaim Studios Manchester e pubblicato da Acclaim Entertainment. Il gioco è stato rilasciato per PlayStation 2, Xboxe PC nel 2003. Una versione di GameCube è stata annullata. [1] Durante lo sviluppo, il gioco è stato intitolato I Gladiator. [2] Throwback Entertainment ha acquisito i diritti di molte delle proprietà di Acclaim nel 2006, tra cui Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance.
Il 6 maggio 2015, durante la conferenza IGNITE di Microsoft,è stato annunciato che Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance sarebbe stato reso disponibile su Xbox One e nei negozi Windows e Windows Phone più avanti nel 2015. Il gioco è stato infine ri-rilasciato su Windows Store il 20 dicembre 2016 per Windows 10e iOS 10 Stickers per iMessage sono stati rilasciati sull'App Store il 9 dicembre 2016.
Il 1o febbraio 2017, Throwback Entertainment ha portato Gladiator: Sword of Vengeance al negozio Steam. I risultati integrati, i badge e il supporto per il salvataggio nel cloud sono stati aggiunti come funzionalità speciali, che è un set di funzionalità unico per un titolo con porto.. di casa.
